Jo Wesner is a Media and Communications student at Arcadia, focusing their studies on PR and marketing. As a student blogger and Digital Media Intern for the School of Global Business, Jo has been working to further their experience as a professional communicator with career goals that center around aiding businesses in their marketing efforts. 

Jo was born and raised in St. Petersburg, FL. They have great interest in animal welfare, nature conservation, activism, and written word. They have a passion for writing, music, hiking, baking, and their two cats. Jo is a student leader in both the Center for Teaching, Learning, and Mentoring and the LOVE program, and has in the past been in leadership positions in both the Class of 2024 and the Student Government Organization. 

Jo is excited to work alongside community members in their work through 1853 Communications and looks forward to the new connections to be made.
